I have my own document management system outside of Licensale 2.0, how do I reference that document management system to the documents on Licensale 2.0?

You can add the internal document management number of your company in the Internal Document Version Number field.  

This distinguishes the document version number provided by Licensale 2.0 from the document version number in your document management system
